AgriLife Extension provides
emergency alert services to all its employees through the use of cell
phone text messaging. This service, hosted by e2Campus,
allows all Extension employees to register their cell phone numbers,
both business and personal, if desired, so that as emergencies occur in
various parts of the state, they may receive notification wherever they
are in the world--provided their cell phones are receiving a signal.
You are encouraged to use the link below to register your cell
phone. In doing so, please select which groups you feel you
are a part of so that emergency notifications can be directed just to
those impacted. Please recognize that messages sent through
this system are SMS text messages, and as such, will generate a small
cost on the cell phone bill, depending on what cell phone plan is
involved. However, please also be assured that messages sent
to this system are really there for emergency purposes only.
